A traveler going to outside for business / leisure purpose, You are a traveler should book a hotel for night stay. So you can search in google using the appropriate key word - Hotel at / near 'place name',

There will be so many hotel booking website by your search. Now the main thing is how you can select a authentic website for your hotel booking !

By Online Travel Portal / Hotel Portal:

First see the names, there are some booking websites visible and some hotel website with hotel names visible. You can open any website by your choice and enter your criteria like - price, area, room types etc. then the particular website will show some hotel names according to your search criteria.

Let see how we can trust the hotel with booking. First copy the selected hotel name and enter in google page will show details of the hotel, check map also then you find exat location. Now go to the booking website find their contact details and location because if there any issue happen, directly connect them.

Make the payment through only by online bank transfer / payment gateway to Current Account only, the account name should be Company Name. Do not make any transaction to any savings account.

After payment you will get a confirmation voucher automaticall if booking through any online travel portal.

Now a days lot of traveller getting fraud through online transaction with hotel name website. They have made the transaction on a particular hotel but after payment hotel refuse booking when traveler call to hotel for checking the booking. About this case you should very careful.

Fraudstars are making a google page by the renowned hotel name and mention their own fraud contact number and making a website by hotel name through some third party site developer. Very carefully see there will be difference in website name (hotel name) from the actual hotel name.

(Example - A hotel name is ABCDEF hotel, website is www.abcdehotel.com / www.abcdehotel.in / www.abcdehotel.co.in / www.abcdehotel.org -----But the fraudstar make the site on same hotel - www.abcde-hotel.com / www.abcdehtl.in / www.abcdehotel.business.site / www.abcdhotel.org / www.abcdroom.com) So be very careful.

A hotel website always their own hotel name domain there is no (,/-') in between the name. And hotel's website is own developing page no thirdparty developing page and own email id by domain name.

If make any transaction through hotel website then check - Make the payment through only by online bank transfer / payment gateway to Current Account only, the account name should be Company Name. Do not make any transaction to any savings account. There are some individual current accounts it can be by Individual name by bank but it will show 'Account type-Current Account' not a savings account.

By offline through a Travel Agent / Travel Company:

Always check GST of the Travel Agent / Travel Company whether it registered or not and check contact details and verify. How to verify - enter the GST SEARCH in google page - find GST govt. website - open the URL - now enter the GST no. - you will see all details with current status whether active Tax payer or not.

Collect the Travel Agent / Travel Company contact details and location.

A Travel Agent / Travel Company must bound to provide the details to every customer.

After payment collect the hotel voucher on same.
